Branksome Hall has a valued relationship with Children’s Garden Nursery School. We look forward to working with families and finding a good fit for CGNS Students in our welcoming environment, which features a liberal arts curriculum and many opportunities for co-curricular activities.

My son is in French Immersion at the local public school in the morning and attends Children's Garden in the Kindergarten Enrichment program two afternoons each week. Thanks to the dedication, enthusiasm, and expertise of the Kindergarten Enrichment teachers, he has learned how to read! We are very happy with our decision to have him at Children's Garden and feel that it is a perfect compliment to his French Immersion experience in his morning school.

Children's Garden Nursery School provides an excellent beginning for young children. Their little ‘graduates’ are ready for the challenges that Sunnybrook School offers and adjust very well, both socially and academically. We are always happy to consider candidates from Children’s Garden!

I found out about CGNS from an ad in a community newspaper. After visiting the school and meeting with some of the staff I decided to enroll my daughter in the 3 afternoon a week Senior Kindergarten program. I had a "gut feeling" it would be a positive environment for her. Now that she has attended the school I know that I made the right decision. I am impressed by all of the staff members and the diversity of the program. In only 3 afternoons a week my daughter is exposed to the S.K curriculum, French, Sportball, Drama, and Music. It has been a wonderful complement to her morning public school. All staff members are very friendly and caring. I feel that I made the right decision in choosing CGNS and would highly recommend this school to others.

Our son is currently enjoying his third year at Children's Garden Nursery School. His first year in nursery school was a perfect introduction to a school setting with all the care and compassion necessary for him to develop positive feelings toward learning. His return to the school for kindergarten enrichment has been an invaluable asset and the perfect compliment to his morning program. His teachers have consistently offered him every opportunity to learn and explore, and provide him with all the support necessary to feel safe while doing so. We are extremely grateful for our son's time at Children's Garden Nursery School and for all the knowledge and experience he has gained here. We know that he will carry these tools and fond memories of staff and fellow students with him for years to come.

We are thrilled with the confidence and skills our daughter has gained from the Children's Garden Kindergarten Enrichment program. The small class size has been a great advantage to her development, both socially and academically. Her teacher has been wonderful in adapting the curriculum to her specific needs and, most importantly, she is happy there and looks forward to each day that she is at Children's Garden Nursery School.

This is my son's third year at Children's Garden Nursery School, one in the Pre-JK class and two in the afternoon kindergarten enrichment classes. Children are such a priority at the school that you feel secure in knowing that they will be prepared for their future education. The schedule of different classes that are offered enhance the skills that children already have and providing a fun environment for those skills not learned yet. We would have not put our son in French Immersion if it had not been for Anne Marie's (French teacher) teaching and guidance, would not have known that he can act, thanks to Drama teacher Lisa and enjoy music because of Music teacher Jill. Not to mention all the other teachings from such a wonderful and caring staff that they go out of their way to encourage children to their best i.e. Janice's (Kindergarten teacher) "Gotcha Bucks". The low class ratio has also been a bonus because of the environment that he is in in the mornings he gets the extra attention from Renee! (Kindergarten teacher) I also cannot forget Jeanette (Administrator) whom the children adore because she provides a warm, loving, kindness to so many and always has a smile on her face! We are very impressed with the school so much that we are putting our daughter in it!

Children's Garden School is a delightful place to send your pre-schooler. It is well-organized with fantastic facilities and friendly teachers who really help the children learn the skills they will need to enter kindergarden. The teachers help the children learn how to socialize, how to be independent and how to play in a group setting. My son loved the music and French classes, the Hallowe'en party, Christmas concert and visit to Riverdale Farm, and the many fun events the school organized. His mother loved the birthday poster the teachers made, and the songs he came home singing!

Children's Garden Nursery School has a great sense of community, happy and caring staff, and a well-balanced curriculum. Our eldest daughter is in JK and still misses Beach Days and Hallowe'en Happening. Our youngest daughter can't wait for her classroom doors to open each morning and is reluctant to leave at the end of the day.

Our daughter has thrived at Children's Garden Nursery School. It is a caring, supportive and stimulating environment that allows children to develop at their own pace. Each and every individual involved in the school is a committed educator who takes the time to meet the needs of each child by actively engaging them individually and collectively in a wide variety of activities. Perhaps the best indication of the success of this school is just how much our daughter loves to learn and the excitement you can see and hear in her when she talks about "her school"! We have nothing but praise for Children's Garden.

Our 3rd son Alistair loves Children¹s Garden Nursery School. He is very happy to go after lunch every day and proud of everything he does and brings home. Alistair speaks with animation at the dinner table every evening about his day at school. All of the staff is caring and upbeat, they really care about the children. I¹m very pleased that Alistair has had this positive start to his school experience.
