It’s always important to get our friends outside!
Here are some great outdoor fun ideas from Ms. Sharon:
- Scavenger Hunt
Make it up as you go along (I bit like “I spy”), or write out a list of things in advance and have your child practice their reading as they read your list or clues.
- Outdoor Bingo
Check out our Spring Bingo Blog post for and explanation and a template you can use to make your own outdoor bingo game!
- Obstacle Course
Use things around the house or yard to create a fun obstacle course. Have your child to help create and design it too!
Here are some things we used: Hula Hoops, skipping rope, sidewalk chalk, scrap wood, outdoor furniture, a ball.
- Water balloon t-ball/baseball
Just like regular baseball or t-ball but make it extra fun by using water balloons ; )
- Bubbles
A trip to the dollar store can yield a few fun wands or things to use to blow your bubbles. Or you can also experiment with household items, like recycled paper towel rolls (cut into smaller pieces), drinking straws, a plastic funnel, or making some shapes with pipe cleaners.
