One of our parents told us about their secret weapon to spice up bath time and shake up a long day or a cold winter weekend indoors: the ‘glow bath’!
Grab a pack of glow sticks and keep them hidden in the cupboard until needed for this special bath time event. Let your child choose a few colours from the package and voila! Just watch the magic unfold as they play in the water.
This also works great paired with bubble bath—the glow sticks get hidden underneath and it becomes a fun treasure hunt game. A glow bath is also a great way to entice kids who don’t love bath time into the tub.
Note: For a ‘low-waste’ glow bath, check your local toy store for some light up bath toys that can be used over and over again.
