Virtual Learning Programs

Check out our programs being offered for the week of January 18th and January 25th

The beauty of our online programming is that you do not have to commit to a full school year. Your minimum commitment would be to a twice-a-week for two weeks session. Each 30-minute session over a two-week period would include the same group of children to promote the best virtual social experience for the children to connect with one another.

You are more than welcome to join other two-week sessions to increase your child’s CGNS Bud’s time to four days a week should your child be ready for more of a learning connection.

Program Goals

Over the course of our programs, we will be strengthening and developing your child’s understanding of phonics by concentrating on letter sounds and letter printing practice.

Math concepts will be introduced such as counting, adding/subtracting, size comparison, patterning, classifying and shapes.

Through stories, the children will have opportunities to develop their listening skills, recognize words they know, learn new words, cultivate their imagination, and expand their understanding of the world.

Fine motor skills will be utilized through playdough activities as well as cutting activities, drawing, practicing letters and colour mixing.

Through songs and fingerplays, the children will use their imaginations, identify sound patterns, learn through repetition, learn new words (and more math concepts!) strengthen their memory skills and use vocabulary.

Social skills will be developed by taking turns, listening skills, communication, developing friendships with other children and the teacher while working on self-help skills to help promote independence.
